Popular cooking YouTuber SooBingsoo, who has 1.28 million subscribers, has left South Korea and set up a new home in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Appearing in Da Nang, SooBingsoo told viewers they probably gasped when they saw the video title and announced he\u2019s officially started living overseas. He said living abroad has been his dream since childhood and that plunging himself into an unfamiliar\u2014but bigger\u2014world is the only way he can grow.<\/p>\n

He made it clear this isn\u2019t just a stint abroad. \u201cTo settle down means my life has to be comfortable there, and I need to be able to work and earn a living,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve been very interested in running a business overseas, and I\u2019ve spent a lot of time preparing for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Right now, he\u2019s doing market research to get his business off the ground. He even joked that Da Nang might as well be called \u201cGyeonggi-do, Da Nang City,\u201d adding that the city\u2019s familiar infrastructure makes day-to-day life easy for Koreans.<\/p>\n

Health concerns also played a role in his decision to relocate. SooBingsoo admitted he hadn\u2019t been feeling well recently\u2014his body runs cold, he experiences pain and inflammation when the temperature drops, and his weight climbed to 65 kg (about 143 lb). While traveling, he said Malta and Vietnam were the only places where he didn\u2019t gain weight, suggesting the local climate helps him manage his health.<\/p>\n

Born in 1992, SooBingsoo launched his channel in 2019 and carved out a distinctive niche with bold videos\u2014personally dismantling giant fish weighing over 100 kg (more than 220 lb)\u2014which helped him rack up a total of 660 million views.<\/p>\n
