Daesung said he hadn’t expected the performance to become such a talking point. Rain recalled being stunned when a Korean greeting \u2014 \\”Hello, I\u2019m Daesung\\” \u2014 flashed on a massive LED screen more than 10 meters across in the middle of the LA desert.<\/p>\n
\\”On a stage like that, you’d expect an English greeting,\\” Rain said. \\”Seeing large Korean subtitles made me proud.\\” Daesung added that the audience seemed taken aback when the Korean text appeared.<\/p>\n
Noting Daesung\u2019s expression onstage, Rain said, \\”You looked like you were having the best time.\\” Daesung replied, \\”There\u2019s a special thrill every time we prepare a set that subverts expectations.\\”<\/p>\n
Playfully referring to Daesung\u2019s moment, Rain said he hopes to someday show the subtitle \\”Hello, I\u2019m Bi (Jung Ji\u2011hoon)\\” onstage, drawing laughter from the audience.<\/p>\n
To close, Rain joked that YouTube\u2019s algorithm keeps recommending Daesung\u2019s videos to him. \\”Every time I open YouTube, your videos keep popping up \u2014 it\u2019s a little awkward,\\” he said, prompting more laughter.<\/p>\n
