Podcast viewing on YouTube TV rose from an average of 400 million hours per month in 2024 to 700 million in 2025, suggesting podcasts are taking on the role of modern daytime talk shows. In the U.S., viewers now spend more than 200 million hours a day watching YouTube from their living rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Platforms are racing to stake out this market.
