On May 13, her YouTube channel \\”Big Mama Lee Hye-jung\\” posted a video titled, \\”I worked up a sweat and got a little touch-up on my face!\\”<\/p>\n

In the clip, Lee is out walking her dog and stops at some outdoor fitness equipment. \\”Let’s do a round of mom’s waist twists,\\” she says, hopping on. \\”If you turn this, you don’t need a gym. Doing this really loosens my waist,\\” she adds, then gets to work.<\/p>\n

\\”I do 50 of these,\\” she says, explaining she has her own rules, before moving on to another machine. She mentions listening to Jo Hang-jo’s songs while she exercises and beams, \\”Even just 15 minutes a day here makes a big difference.\\”<\/p>\n

Then the crew asks, \\”Earlier it was dark at home so we couldn’t tell, but now that we’re outside \u2014 why are there bruises on your face, ma’am?\\” Lee laughs, a little embarrassed: \\”Ah! Oh, you caught me.\\”<\/p>\n

She goes on to explain, \\”Remember when we didn’t get estimates at the plastic surgery clinic last time? I went back and the doctor did a lift. He put threads in my face, injected collagen, and did skin Botox. Basically, I got a bit of a full touch-up.\\”<\/p>\n

On how long the effects will last, she says the doctor told her it should last about a year. \\”If it takes this much effort once a year, I can do it,\\” she says. Asked whether she’ll do it again in a year, she answers without hesitation, \\”Yes, I’ll do it again.\\”<\/p>\n

Last year, after she appeared on YouTube without makeup and received harsh comments calling her ugly, Lee said she felt too deflated to live that way and filmed content visiting a plastic surgery clinic. At that time, she received estimates totaling roughly 12,000,000 KRW (approximately $9,000 USD): thread lifting \u2014 3,000,000 KRW (approximately $2,250 USD), nasolabial fold treatment \u2014 2,000,000 KRW (approximately $1,500 USD), eye surgery \u2014 about 4,000,000 KRW (approximately $3,000 USD), and lower eyelid surgery \u2014 about 3,000,000 KRW (approximately $2,250 USD).<\/p>\n
