Rather than offering simple suggestions, it blends familiar favorites, long-unplayed tracks and new releases into a radio-like, personalized stream.<\/p>\n<p>Spotify said that since AI DJ\u2019s beta debut in 2023, it has shaped the listening experiences of about 94 million premium users.<\/p>\n<p>With this expansion, AI DJ is now available in South Korea, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and Austria, bringing the total number of supported countries to more than 75.<\/p>\n<p>Spotify also introduced new DJ personas for the added languages. Ma\u00efa (French) projects a polished, approachable vibe; Ben (German) offers a calm, warm presence; Alex (Italian) leans toward an emotive, steady tone; and Dani (Brazilian Portuguese) reflects a dynamic, trend-forward musical sensibility.<\/p>\n<p>The company said it collaborated with local teams to craft voice styles and phrasing that feel natural in each language and cultural context.<\/p>\n<p>The feature has evolved into a more interactive service. Early versions provided music with brief commentary; since last year, users can ask AI DJ \u2014 by voice or text \u2014 to change mood or genre. Commands can be as simple as &#8220;Play party music&#8221; or &#8220;Switch to songs that fit a date-night mood.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Spotify has continued to expand its AI toolkit. It recently added a feature that turns natural-language prompts into playlists: type a request such as &#8220;late-night jazz playlist for focus,&#8221; and the AI assembles a tailored music or podcast list.<\/p>\n<p>Users can access AI DJ by typing &#8220;DJ&#8221; on the app home screen or in the search bar, and they can change the language in the settings menu.
