The agreement also paves the way for the Army to consider adopting the Samsung Galaxy Tactical Edition phones, which U.S. and German NATO forces use for battlefield situational awareness. <\/p>\n<p> The two sides identified priority collaboration areas: developing AI\u2011enabled mobile systems, building next\u2011generation network infrastructure, and implementing mobile security platforms. They agreed to hold regular technical exchanges to refine military applications and chart future development paths. <\/p>\n<p> Under the agreement, the Army will work with Samsung to modernize its digital combat environment by building 5G\u2011 and 6G\u2011based mobile operational systems, improving soldiers\u2019 situational awareness through secure smartphones, and developing intelligent decision\u2011support capabilities. <\/p>\n<p> About 25 officials attended the signing ceremony, including Maj. Gen. Ryu Seung\u2011ha, chief of the Army Headquarters\u2019 Informatization Planning Staff, and Park Jung\u2011min, vice president and head of Samsung Electronics\u2019 MX Division Global Mobile B2B team. <\/p>\n<p> The Army said it will center efforts on Army TIGER+ and intelligent smart units, collaborating with Samsung to: \u25b3 build 5G\u2011based mobile operational environments; \u25b3 enhance soldiers\u2019 situational awareness using smartphones equipped with advanced security technologies; and \u25b3 establish intelligent decision\u2011support systems to advance its digital combat capabilities. <\/p>\n<p> Maj.
