[EPN Enpinau reporter Go Nari] SBS\u2019s long-running variety show Running Man returns on May 3 with a new \u201cSaekdallaya Flower Road\u201d race.<\/p>\n

The episode features Chungha and Jeon Somi, reuniting as members of the project group I.O.I after a decade, who will appear as special guests.<\/p>\n

I.O.I, which debuted in 2016 and left a lasting mark on K-pop, has teased a high-profile comeback: their third mini-album, I.O.I: LOOP, is scheduled for release on May 19 \u2014 roughly nine years after their debut.<\/p>\n

On set, Chungha and Jeon Somi revisited I.O.I hits such as \u201cPick Me,\u201d \u201cDream Girls,\u201d and \u201cVery Very Very.\u201d Their impromptu performances drew warm welcomes from the members and quickly commanded the room.<\/p>\n

The episode will also lift the curtain on the hidden steps and backstories that led these two, now active in different fields, to reunite.<\/p>\n

Chungha quipped that she played a decisive role in arranging the reunion, teasing behind-the-scenes details that helped make the nine-year restart possible.<\/p>\n

The show recreates the \u201cBang Bang\u201d dance that sparked a craze a decade ago and stages a fierce contest for the center spot.<\/p>\n

When Chungha broke into an impromptu performance of her solo single \u201cAlready 12 O’Clock,\u201d cast members gaped, some saying they thought they were watching a magic trick.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSaekdallaya Flower Road\u201d race featuring both artists will air on May 3 at 6:10 p.m. KST.<\/p>\n
