He said he will seek a rehearing from the national party and file for a provisional injunction to suspend the nomination\u2019s effect.<\/p>\n<p> Ryu noted that the Daegu chapter\u2019s nomination committee approved Jeong as the sole candidate with 5 votes out of nine committee members. He argued that, under city and provincial committee rules, recommending a single candidate requires the approval of two-thirds of all members\u2014meaning at least six votes were necessary.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier that morning, the People Power Party\u2019s Daegu nomination committee held its 13th meeting and announced it had recommended former deputy mayor Jeong Jang-su as the sole candidate for the
