City officials say the extra buses should meaningfully ease travel for residents who commute to Seoul without transfers.<\/p>\n<p>With this change, the M6464 will operate five buses on weekdays, up from three, including one charter coach. That should roughly halve peak-period headways and significantly improve convenience for riders.<\/p>\n<p>Since introducing a quasi-public operating system for regional buses, Incheon reports overall improvements in service. The city says it will continue working closely with bus operators to expand the number of express (M) and direct-seat routes.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, \u201cExpanding the metropolitan transit network that links major hubs is a core task to protect citizens\u2019 right to mobility and strengthen the city\u2019s competitiveness.
