Titled Music\u2019s Meddling, STAN:A\u2019s second podcast lineup will premiere its first episode on the 24th at 6 p.m. and will air new episodes every other week.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Music\u2019s Meddling is a music commentary show co-hosted by producer Hitchhiker and singer-songwriter Jin Choi. Built on the premise that everyday music \u201cmeddles\u201d in our lives, the series aims to explore everything about the music that has become part of our daily experience.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Each episode centers on a music-related theme and takes a multiangled approach through conversations with guests from a range of fields. The program will cover not only music-making but also the social phenomena and cultural trends music generates. For the premiere, Yoona and Minju of the group AilLit will discuss how today\u2019s generation consumes music.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The trailer\u2014shot in a vlog style by Jin Choi\u2014places the hosts\u2019 personal story at its center. It pieces together photos and videos from Jin Choi\u2019s childhood to the present, documenting everyday moments with her father, Hitchhiker.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The footage shows Hitchhiker and Jin Choi dancing, taking selfies and joking around like close friends. It also traces Jin Choi\u2019s upbringing\u2014moving between Hitchhiker\u2019s stages and studios as if they were a playground\u2014where she naturally encountered keyboards, drums, guitars and other instruments, forming a musical bond through hands-on experience.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Jin Choi, who produced the video, narrates, \u201cWe\u2019re doing this podcast because we love music,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019m happy to talk about music with my dad, who\u2019s also my best friend.\u201d Having shared a long musical connection, the pair are expected to bring a chemistry that bridges generations to the show.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>HYBE Media Studio said, \u201cCombining the hosts\u2019 musical expertise with fresh perspectives from guests in diverse fields will allow us to spotlight music from new, expanded viewpoints. We plan to invite unexpected guests to look at music through different lenses and help audiences discover new meanings and charms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Hitchhiker previously served as a member and producer of the band Rollercoaster and has produced numerous K-pop hits\u2014including BoA\u2019s \u201cGAME,\u201d Girls\u2019 Generation\u2019s \u201cShow! Show! Show!,\u201d f(x)\u2019s \u201cPinocchio\u201d and Brown Eyed Girls\u2019 \u201cAbracadabra.\u201d He currently works as a producer at HYBE.
