On the April 12 episode of KBS2’s variety show Boss, My Ears Are Donkey Ears (episode 352), Jeong Ho-young, Jeong Ji-seon and Yang Jun-hyuk take viewers on a Hong Kong scouting tour. When a truffle is placed in front of him, Yang blurts out, \u201cWhat\u2019s a truffle?\u201d and the moment cracks everyone up.<\/p>\n

After sampling a bite of Mosu\u2019s signature acorn noodles finished with truffle, Yang is asked by Jeong Ji-seon, \u201cHow\u2019s the truffle aroma?\u201d He honestly replies, \u201cWhat\u2019s a truffle?\u201d Jeong Ho-young explains, \u201cIt\u2019s the priciest kind of mushroom,\u201d and Jeong Ji-seon adds, \u201cThe truffle on this plate alone is probably about 100,000 KRW (approximately $75).\u201d Yang\u2019s eyes widen: \u201cMushrooms can be that expensive?\u201d Then, slurping the truffle-topped acorn noodles like he\u2019s at a comforting family meal, he beams, \u201cSo tender, so soft \u2014 delicious.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yang Jun-hyuk is also amazed by the local Hong Kong adoration for Jeong Ji-seon and Jeong Ho-young, who shot to global chef fame after appearing on Black-and-White Chef. Crowds on the street swarm them for photos. Standing off to the side, Yang watches with a twinge of envy and jokes, \u201cMaybe I should go on Black-and-White Chef with a yellowtail,\u201d before playfully throwing his hat in the ring.<\/p>\n
