Visitors rolled down car windows to snap photos or pulled over to stroll beneath the canopy of blooms.<\/p>\n<p>Kim, a visitor in his 30s from Jeonju, said, \u201cI worried yesterday\u2019s rain would strip a lot of the blossoms, but they still look full. On the way here, petals fell like rain, so I recorded it on video.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lee, in his 50s, who came from Seoul with friends, laughed, \u201cThe festival\u2019s great, but the cherry trees along the drive were so pretty that I felt happy the moment we left home. We were busy taking photos together long before we reached the suspension bridge.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/contents-cdn.viewus.co.kr\/image\/2026\/04\/CP-2022-0006\/image-aa6efe15-d5fc-4227-affc-aa1a09814a40.jpeg\" alt=\"&nbsp;News1 Moon Chae-yeon\" \/><figcaption>&nbsp;News1 Moon Chae-yeon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On one side of the festival grounds, fans gathered to cheer for a popular trot singer. Small clusters held hand signs and light sticks emblazoned with supportive messages as they waited for the performance.<\/p>\n<p>Park, in his 60s, said, \u201cWhen I like a singer, I often go to local festivals. I\u2019m excited to see my favorite artist up close, and since I can enjoy the cherry blossoms and a show, today\u2019s going to be even more fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Forecasters predicted daytime highs around 20\u00b0C (about 68\u00b0F) across North Jeolla Province.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the province\u2019s cherry blossom festivals are set to wrap up this weekend with events in Imsil County, Iksan City, and Gunsan City. After that, the spring season will roll on with the Gochang green barley field festival and the Jinan moss phlox festival, keeping the spring vibes
