Since late 2022 the company has opened publicly accessible \u201cBMW Charging Stations\u201d at major hubs. Under its mid- to long-term program announced in 2023, \u201cCharging Next,\u201d BMW has deployed 3,030 EV chargers to date and plans to add 1,000 more this year, bringing the total to 4,000.<\/p>\n<p>BMW also launched the BMW BEV Membership test-drive program, which has given 4,624 customers a hands-on experience so far.<\/p>\n<p>On vehicle safety, BMW monitors battery condition through its connected-technology vehicle management service, BMW Proactive Care, to prevent overcharging and overheating. BMW is the only importer participating in a pilot that reports battery irregularities to fire authorities, helping secure faster fire-response times.<\/p>\n<p>Maintenance and routine service for electrified models are available at 81 authorized service centers, while complex work such as high-voltage battery servicing and accident repairs is handled at 42 locations.
