Nexen Group boosts tennis shoe performance using about 80 years of tire expertise<\/b><\/p>\n

Nexen Tire announced on the 27th that it has launched the high-performance tennis shoe Le Court Advanced (LE COURT ADVANCED), developed in collaboration with global sports brand Le Coq Sportif.<\/p>\n

The Le Court Advanced applies Nexen Group\u2019s electric-vehicle tire technology to enhance the shoe\u2019s outsole (the bottom part of the shoe).<\/p>\n

Nexen Tire and Nexen created a high-performance outsole compound using functional materials \u2014 a rubber composite that mixes multiple tire raw materials \u2014 while Le Coq Sportif handled the outsole\u2019s design and structural engineering.<\/p>\n

On the court, tennis shoes need excellent abrasion resistance and reliable traction because players make quick direction changes and face constant friction.<\/p>\n

By bringing tire technology into the outsole, Nexen Group fine-tuned the shoe\u2019s on-court performance.<\/p>\n

During development, Nexen also registered a patent for the special outsole compound.<\/p>\n

Le Court Advanced is available at Le Coq Sportif stores nationwide, the brand\u2019s official online mall, and major online platforms like Musinsa and 29CM.<\/p>\n

To mark the launch, Nexen Tire is running a giveaway on its official Instagram and will randomly select winners to receive a pair.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe planned this collaboration with Le Coq Sportif so people can experience Nexen Tire\u2019s technology in everyday life,\u201d a Nexen Tire spokesperson said. \u201cWe\u2019ll continue partnering with various brands to present our innovative technology in a more approachable way.\u201d<\/p>\n
