As his artistic identity grew and he started pursuing his own projects, the joy of working together began to fade. People would tell us how we should make music, and I even told them I would give up AKMU. Singing and being onstage stopped bringing me joy. For about two years I lived like a hikikomori. I really felt like I had given up on my future.\\&#8221; <\/p>\n<div>\n<table cellpadding=\"2\" class=\"news_photo\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/contents-cdn.viewus.co.kr\/image\/2026\/04\/CP-2023-0081\/image-b56e533d-c35d-4e87-8da7-603bdd715694.jpeg\" border=\"0\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><font color=\"#3522A4\"><\/font><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p> Watching his sister, Lee Chan-hyuk said she seemed drained both before and after filming. \\&#8221;I couldn&#8217;t force her to do anything,\\&#8221; he said. \\&#8221;It broke my heart.\\&#8221; <\/p>\n<p> Lee Su-hyun also admitted to turning to food to fill an emotional void. \\&#8221;When I went on music shows, everyone looked so thin, so I always felt I had to lose weight. Food became what filled that emptiness, and I binge-ate every day. My whole body reacted. My self-esteem and confidence hit rock bottom and I couldn&#8217;t face people. I developed social anxiety and became afraid of people looking at me,\\&#8221; she confessed. <\/p>\n<p> With her brother&#8217;s support, she joined a group retreat and walked the Camino de Santiago. She said that experience helped pull her out of two years of isolation and overcome the slump. \\&#8221;My brother is my savior,\\&#8221; she said. \\&#8221;He wants me to be happy not just now, but for the rest of my life.
