Earlier warm weather has sped up the spring bloom schedule, and Nami Island \u2014 one of the country\u2019s favorite destinations \u2014 is now awash in vivid spring hues.<\/span> <\/p>\n
From the 11th to the 26th, the ‘Beot (Friend) Flower, Let’s Play’ festival invites visitors with a lineup of performances, hands-on activities, and exhibitions. It\u2019s fast becoming a go-to spring day trip spot just outside Seoul.<\/span> <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Easily reached by car or public transit from the Seoul metro area, Nami Island draws many spring travelers. Direct shuttle buses run daily from major Seoul hubs like Hongdae, Myeong-dong, and Dongdaemun, making it convenient for both domestic and international guests.<\/span> <\/p>\n
Blossoms that began in late March \u2014 including cornelian cherry, magnolia, forsythia, and plum \u2014 give way in April to weeping cherry, king cherry, and double-flowered cherry trees. Mid-April is peak season, when cherry blossoms explode into full bloom and the entire island takes on a pink glow.<\/span> <\/p>\n
