She added that she uses her Korean passport most often, her Dutch passport when traveling to Europe, and her Canadian passport for trips to the U.S.<\/p>\n<p> Jeon Somi recalled appearing with her father on the 2013 Children\u2019s Day special of Start! Dream Team when she was in sixth grade. \u201cMy elementary school was known for its taekwondo demonstration team, and I was part of it, so I went on the show,\u201d she said. She surprised the audience by noting, \u201cI hold a fourth-degree black belt and I\u2019m certified as a taekwondo instructor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> The singer also confessed her long-standing admiration for Kai. \u201cWhen I was on Produce 101, I said I was a fan of Kai,\u201d she said. Meeting him on the show for the first time in 10 years since their debuts left her giddy: she told him, \u201cYou look the same as when you debuted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> She reflected on winning first place on Produce 101 in 2016. \u201cI stayed in the top spot the whole time and thought I\u2019d debut among the top ranks,\u201d Jeon Somi said. \u201cWhen they hadn\u2019t announced up to second place yet, my heart just dropped. I wondered, \u2018Did I not make it? Did something go wrong with last week\u2019s broadcast?\u2019 My mind went blank, so when they finally called my name, I was overjoyed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> When Tak Jae-hoon asked whether she expected to finish first from the start, she answered, \u201cOf course.\u201d She admitted the comment might sound harsh to some. \u201cI wanted the title of \u2018national center\u2019 so badly. Because I\u2019m mixed race, I often felt like I didn\u2019t belong anywhere growing up.
