The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal reported on the 28th (local time) that Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia came under missile and drone attacks launched from Iran. Since U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran on the 28th of last month escalated the conflict, Prince Sultan has emerged as a principal target for Iranian retaliation. The base, which saw 5 tankers damaged in an attack about two weeks ago, has now endured its 3rd major assault.
