[iNews24 reporter So Jin-seop] Yeongdong wine from Chungbuk showcased its quality and competitive edge at the 2026 Korea Liquor Awards.<\/p>\n

Yeongdong County says that at the March 24 awards ceremony held at The Westin Chosun Seoul, 12 local wines were honored for their outstanding quality.<\/p>\n

Most notably, Geumyong Nongsan\u2019s ‘Mirato Shine Muscat Sparkling’ took home the top prize: Best of 2026.<\/p>\n

‘Mirato Shine Muscat Sparkling’ is a premium sparkling wine that pairs the Shine Muscat grape\u2019s fragrant, floral aroma with bright, crisp effervescence.<\/p>\n

Designated in 2005 as the country\u2019s only grape-and-wine industry special zone, Yeongdong now boasts about 30 wineries that use unique winemaking methods to produce a wide range of distinctive wines.<\/p>\n
