Porsche Korea<\/span> said it will flexibly determine the sales mix between the Cayenne Electric and internal-combustion Cayenne models in the domestic market based on how customers respond.<\/p>\n

On the 19th, Porsche Korea<\/span> unveiled the new Cayenne Electric at Pie Factory in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and held a Q&A with reporters afterward.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Discussing sales mix, Matthias Busse, CEO of Porsche Korea, said, \u201cThis year we’ll pursue value-driven growth and align with consumer demand. We haven’t designated a specific target segment for the Cayenne Electric; we’ll observe the market.\u201d He added, \u201cWe haven’t fixed the share for electrified vehicles \u2014 we’ll adjust as the market evolves.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new Cayenne Electric starts at KRW 142,300,000 (approximately $106,725), priced below the existing gasoline model. That positioning has been seen as giving the model competitive pricing in Korea. Namhyun Cho, Porsche Korea\u2019s executive director of product and service, said, \u201cKorea is the world’s fourth-largest market, and we evaluated local customer demand. Through headquarters, we set a strategic, competitive price.\u201d<\/p>\n

Busse also addressed the use of Korean-made batteries: \u201cFor the Macan Electric, we sourced batteries flexibly from multiple suppliers. We selected Samsung not only for stability and reliability but because customers were satisfied,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

When Porsche Korea outlined plans to strengthen its after-sales service network, reporters asked whether the company would add service centers outside the Seoul metropolitan area this year.<\/p>\n

Holger Brandt, Porsche Korea\u2019s executive director of after-sales and network development, said, \u201cWe initially focused expansion in the capital region where many customers are concentrated. We opened service centers in Seongsu and Yangjae to improve convenience, and we’ll soon announce locations in Yeongdeungpo and Ilsan.\u201d He added, \u201cWe plan to expand to provide greater regional coverage, including an additional site in the Incheon area, and we’re exploring other regions in discussions with our partners.\u201d<\/p>\n
