Parts of Dodang-ri in Eumam-myeon, Hongcheon-ri in Haemi-myeon, and Suseok-dong have been newly designated as Type 3 military noise mitigation zones.<\/p>\n<p>The newly incorporated area includes 171 land parcels. Residents in these zones can now apply for compensation of up to 30,000 KRW (about 22.5 USD) per month. However, the actual amount may vary based on the date of relocation and place of employment.<\/p>\n<p>Military noise mitigation zones are categorized into three types based on noise impact levels. Applications will be accepted until the 28th at the Climate and Environmental Air Division of Seosan City and the Eumam-myeon Community Center.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous year, the city disbursed approximately 2.45 billion KRW (1.84 million USD) in compensation to 9,025 residents from Eumam-myeon, Unsan-myeon, Haemi-myeon, Gobuk-myeon, Suseok-dong, and
