BTS, the global K-pop sensation, is gearing up for a free comeback concert next month that’s expected to draw massive crowds. <\/p>\n

  Scheduled for March 21, the event will transform Gwanghwamun Square into a fan paradise, with plans to accommodate around 15,000 lucky ARMY members. The concert, set to take place the day after the release of their highly anticipated fifth studio album “Arirang,” has authorities bracing for a potential turnout of up to 260,000 enthusiasts.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

In collaboration with Seoul city officials, organizers are hammering out logistics for both standing areas and designated seating at the iconic square. BTS’s official fan platform, Weverse, is currently running a lottery for standing tickets, exclusively available to those who’ve pre-ordered the new album. Fans have until the 13th to throw their hats in the ring for a chance at one of the approximately 2,000 coveted spots in the standing zone.<\/p>\n

The stage design promises to be a showstopper, featuring a T-shaped layout with an extended catwalk. Standing areas will wrap around the central stage, offering an immersive experience for the lucky few. Designated seating will be arranged towards the rear of Gwanghwamun Square. While the exact capacity is still being finalized, sources close to the event suggest a total attendance of around 15,000. Fans can mark their calendars for the 23rd when tickets for the seated areas go on sale through the NOL ticketing platform.
For those unable to snag a ticket, there’s still hope. Organizers are exploring the possibility of setting up a massive screen near Seoul Plaza, allowing even more fans to be part of the action. Law enforcement is preparing for a potential sea of ARMY, with estimates ranging from 230,000 near Deoksugung Palace to over 260,000 extending to Sungnyemun Gate.
In a groundbreaking move, the concert will be streamed live on Netflix to more than 190 countries, marking the first time a major Korean event of this scale will be broadcast globally through the streaming giant.
