  The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) delivered 1,600 sets of rice cake soup ingredients and a donation of 80 million KRW (about 60,000 USD) to the local community on February 10th, in celebration of the Lunar New Year. This was reported by HIRA.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

HIRA announced on February 10th that it conducted a charitable activity targeting underprivileged groups in the Gangwon region for the Lunar New Year holiday.<\/p>\n

To ensure that neighbors could enjoy a warm holiday, HIRA provided 1,600 sets of rice cake soup ingredients worth approximately 100 million KRW (about 75,000 USD) and a donation of 80 million KRW (about 60,000 USD) raised by its employees.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The donated funds and items will be distributed to social welfare facilities and vulnerable households across cities and counties in Gangwon Province through the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Council of Social Welfare.<\/p>\n

This initiative not only supports the local economy by purchasing locally produced goods but also embodies the value of community support. Additionally, through voluntary employee participation in fundraising, staff contributed to addressing welfare gaps in the community.<\/p>\n

HIRA consistently engages in social contribution activities closely tied to the community during every holiday, fulfilling its social responsibility as a public institution.<\/p>\n
