Michelin announced on February 10 that it will provide original equipment (OE) tires for Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered truck, ‘The New XCIENT Fuel Cell Truck’.<\/p>\n

Beginning in early 2026, the ‘Michelin X Line Energy’ tires will be fitted as OE on Hyundai’s ‘The New XCIENT Fuel Cell Truck’ models exported to Europe.<\/p>\n

‘The New XCIENT Fuel Cell Truck’ is Hyundai’s large commercial vehicle equipped with a 180 kW hydrogen fuel cell system and a 350 kW drive motor. It boasts an impressive range of over 720 kilometers (447 miles) on a single charge when fully loaded.<\/p>\n

Michelin’s ‘X Line Energy’ tire is engineered for long-haul transport, offering high efficiency for commercial vehicles. It features a compound that delivers low rolling resistance and enhanced durability through advanced casing technology. The tire meets the ‘A’ rating for rolling resistance under European tire standards and incorporates a self-repairing tread pattern.<\/p>\n
