On May 14, SK Broadband said it will team up with LOVE FNC, Dreamus Company and MakeUs’s Dingo Music to stage the “2026 Blossom Youth Music Festival,” an initiative to support young people with musical talent and passion.
The Blossom Youth Music Festival offers aspiring artists more than a contest; it connects them with the broader K-culture industry. Since its debut in 2022, the festival has spotlighted the musical drive of roughly 1,000 young people over four years. Past winners have gone on to specialize in music—enrolling in arts high schools and top university practical-music programs—and have continued developing as professional musicians.
This year’s festival centers on turning dreams into reality. It opens media platforms and entertainment infrastructure to young people who lack live performance experience or opportunities to share their songs, giving them a stage where creative ambitions can produce concrete results.
Notably, Dingo Music—recognized for its distinctive live-content production—has joined the Blossom Youth Music Festival alliance. With 5.5 million subscribers, the platform will give participants content-production experience on par with professional artists and broaden their public exposure.
The festival’s benefits emphasize tangible development. The eight teams that advance to the finals will receive hands-on mentoring from FNC Entertainment professionals during a one-night, two-day music camp in Chuncheon. With support from Dreamus Company, the finalists’ original songs will be released as official tracks and distributed not only on FLO, the festival’s platform, but also on major domestic services such as Melon, Genie Music and Bugs. The newly created Dingo Music Award will give the winning team a chance to connect directly with audiences through a high-quality live video production, the Dingo Music Special Live.
The 2026 Blossom Youth Music Festival is open to any music-loving youth under 19 (born 2008–2014), either as individuals or teams. Applicants should submit an original song of about three minutes that reflects their story, along with a live video, via the festival’s official blog. The submission period runs from May 15 through June 30.
Lee Jong-ho, head of SKB’s Corporate Center, said, “This festival will provide a valuable stage for talented young people to demonstrate their potential,” and added, “SKB will remain a steadfast partner, supporting promising young talent as they pursue their dreams.”
