[RealFood=Reporter Seong-yeon Yuk] JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul’s The Lounge announced on the 23rd that it’s unveiling a summer lineup of bingsu and parfait desserts. They’ll be available from the 22nd of next month through Sept. 3.
The Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu spotlights sweet Jeju apple mango, layered with citrus cream, airy foam, and mango condensed milk. It’s served with orange blossom gelato and lemon sorbet, with ice cream provided on the side.
The Korean Melon Bingsu pairs a refreshing Korean melon compote with creamy yogurt ice cream and a light sorbet.
New this season is the Special Truffle Dessert Bingsu Set. It stacks truffle-infused milk ice and tops it with hazelnut crunch, chocolate sorbet, chocolate anglaise cream, cacao feuilletage, and cacao nibs cream. The set also includes two truffle canapés and a truffle pasta, and is paired with a bottle of Cloudy Bay Pelorus sparkling wine.
The Lounge is also offering two single-serve parfaits for solo diners: the Exotic Parfait and the Olive Citrus Parfait.
