[World Today] K-pop group BTS has sold out every North American and European date on its new world tour, ARIRANG, which begins in April.
On the 27th, label BigHit Music said the North American and European leg—41 performances in all—had sold out after ticketing closed on the 24th. Stadium-level seats moved quickly once sales opened, the company added, underscoring intense global demand.
BTS will launch the North American leg at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa with shows on April 25, 26 and 28. They will then perform 31 shows across 12 cities, including El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford and Las Vegas.
Due to strong local demand, organizers added one additional show apiece in Tampa, Stanford and Las Vegas.

The European leg opens June 26–27 at Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano. From there, BTS will play a total of 10 shows across five major European cities—Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris—bringing the band face to face with ARMY.
BigHit Music highlighted that BTS will be the first Korean act to headline solo concerts at venues such as El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium, Stanford Stadium, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium and AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The label called the tour another major milestone for K-pop live performances.
The group will kick off the world tour on April 9 at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex and is slated to perform 82 shows across 34 cities worldwide—the largest single tour by a K-pop act to date. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be added.
The band released (or plans to release) their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, on March 20; it contains 14 new tracks that reflect the BTS of today. /Yonhap News
