[mdtoday = Reporter Lee Ga-eul] Baskin-Robbins has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company Korea to roll out two June Flavor of the Month offerings and four ice cream cakes inspired by the animated film Toy Story 5. With the movie due in theaters on June 17, the company is aiming to draw fans with character-driven flavors and desserts.
The two new flavors take their cues from the film’s lead characters, Woody and Buzz. Woody’s Fruit Adventure combines fruit sherbets and sorbets — watermelon, coconut, peach and lemon-lime — reflecting Woody’s color palette, and finishes with chewy jelly toppings to add texture.
Buzz’s Apple Lychee Beam pairs green apple with yogurt and adds a sweet lychee ribbon for a crisp, refreshing finish. The ice cream’s color scheme mirrors the design of Buzz’s suit to enhance its visual appeal.
A Baskin-Robbins representative said, “We hope customers enjoy a variety of Toy Story 5–themed ice creams and ice cream cakes that bring the beloved global franchise’s new chapter to life.”
