[NewsCulture reporter Park Dong-seon] KATSEYE, the global girl group, has cemented its influence across Anglophone pop culture and emerged as a major force in digital media.
On May 16, HYBE and Geffen Records announced that KATSEYE won two honors at the 30th Webby Awards: a Webby Award and the People’s Voice Award.

Often billed as the \”Oscars\” of internet content, the Webby Awards recognize digital achievements with global reach. KATSEYE was honored for the social impact of its fashion campaign \”Better in Denim.\”
The group appeared on the winners’ list alongside global icons such as Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga and Timothée Chalamet, a sign of KATSEYE’s growing stature on the world stage.
The recognition highlights the group’s rapid global rise. A string of viral milestones — from dominating annual charts on platforms like Google and TikTok to the sustained streaming success of the single \”PINKY UP\” on the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Official Charts — has underscored their influence.
KATSEYE plans to keep that momentum going with promotions for \”PINKY UP,\” building on the success of the previous release \”BEAUTIFUL CHAOS\” and hits like \”Gabriela\” and \”Touch.\”
