On the 28th, Lee posted: “On the mat, the body is honest. Expensive clothes and even a fine job are of no use. That’s why yoga.” The brief message accompanied an update on her life.
The photos released alongside the post show Lee leading students and demonstrating a range of yoga poses.
Lee has run a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, since last September. She teaches early-morning classes herself and, earlier this month, drew attention after posting new policies: no photos or video during class, and please refrain from requesting personal photos or autographs from the studio owner.
In addition to her career as a singer, Lee has been a yoga instructor for 12 years and has often said that yoga transformed her life.
Lee married guitarist Lee Sang-soon in 2013 and lived on Jeju Island; in 2024 she moved to the Pyeongchang-dong neighborhood of Jongno District, Seoul.
